At the invitation of China’s Ministry of National Defense, defense attachés from more than 60 countries including Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Jordan, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Canada and Argentina went to the PLA Eastern Theater Command on October 14th for a five-day visit. This visit will help them better understand the Chinese path to modernization, the great achievements made by the people’s military in the new era in particular, and advance friendly cooperation between the PLA and their militaries.
